Advanced Inspections
Personal protective equipment and life safety equipment should be submitted for an Advanced Inspection at least annually to ensure that their integrity of the performance has not been compromised. NFPA 1851 recommends that structural turnout ensembles be inspected at minimum once annually and as specific incident exposure may direct.
